Your journey begins in Nairobi, heading to the open plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve, where abundant wildlife thrives. Here, you have excellent chances to see the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—as well as giraffes, zebras, and other plains game. Optional game drives and visits to Maasai villages offer cultural insights alongside thrilling wildlife encounters.
Next, travel to the shimmery pink waters of Lake Nakuru, a heavily alkaline lake famous for its massive flocks of flamingos, which feed on blue-green algae in the lake’s waters. The park also shelters black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffalos, lions, leopards, and hippos. From Lake Nakuru, the safari explores nearby lakes such as Elmenteita and Bogoria, each supporting alkaline-loving birdlife and scenic surroundings ideal for photography.
The safari also visits freshwater lakes, including Lake Naivasha and Lake Baringo, which attract large populations of hippos, crocodiles, and an impressive variety of waterbirds. you will depart from Nairobi very in the morning travel to the north of Kenya, head down the rift valley escarpment chapel built of the foot at the escarpment as you head to Narok travelling across acres of wheat and barley, on your way to Masai mara arriving time for lunch, in the afternoon you will have a game drive till sunset overnight and dinner at Keekerok lodge
On this day wake call as early as 0600am, then proceed to Breakfast. After breakfast, we proceed for the whole day's game drive. You will start spotting animals at a very close distance and we advise our guests to have all their cameras ready as the animals are in their natural habitats and actions takes place without notice. The Masai Mara is famous for its lions, elephants, leopard, rhino, and buffalo that make the 'big five' though luck is essential for spotting the other two, which are rather shy and elusive. The park's animal concentration and abundance are second to none. After exploring the park you will proceed to the Mara River where the great Migration of the wildebeest takes place every year, lunch will be served here and our guests are advised not to feed the monkeys which will try to snatch some of your fruits which is common here. You will be able to see the hippo pool where with luck you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra, Masai giraffe can be seen, and scavengers like hyena and vulture. After lunch, we proceed for another game drive as you return to the camp at around 1830hrs. Overnight in the same Camp or Lodge
On this day you will have a wake-up call at 0600am and have just a cup of hot coffee and then proceed for the early morning game drive, this early morning game drive will give you an opportunity to see the early morning hunt and the Big five making kills. Then return to the camp for the main breakfast as you prepare to check out the Park. On this morning you will also have an opportunity to visit the Masai Village and be entertained by the Masai Dance, you will also have an opportunity to buy curios and other items from the village at a reduced cost. Then leave Mara and head to Nairobi but stop at Narok for lunch,after lunch proceed to Nairobi arriving late afternoon with a drop off to your hotel.
