Visitors may choose to explore the city with a short sightseeing tour or enjoy one of Nairobi’s renowned restaurants before setting off early the next morning for the safari.

From Nairobi, the journey continues south toward Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserves. Amboseli is renowned for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, which towers above the open savannah plains. Game drives across the park provide exceptional opportunities to see large herds of elephants, often photographed against the dramatic backdrop of Kilimanjaro. The park’s swamps and grasslands also support lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and a wide variety of bird species, making it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.

After exploring Amboseli, the Shadow of Kilimanjaro – 5 Days Kenya Safari continues to Tsavo West National Park, a vast wilderness known for its rugged hills, lava flows, and lush oases. Highlights of this region include the crystal-clear Mzima Springs, where visitors can observe hippos and crocodiles in the water while surrounded by palm trees and wildlife-rich landscapes. Tsavo West offers excellent game viewing opportunities and dramatic scenery that showcases the wild beauty of southern Kenya.

The safari then proceeds to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, a private conservation area located on the edge of Tsavo. This sanctuary is famous for its abundant wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, antelope, and predators such as lions and leopards. The elevated lodges here provide spectacular views of the surrounding wilderness and excellent opportunities for game viewing.

The final stage of the Shadow of Kilimanjaro – 5 Days Kenya Safari takes travelers to the beautiful coastal city of Mombasa. After days of thrilling safari experiences, guests can relax along the white sandy beaches of the Indian Ocean and enjoy the warm tropical climate.
