A Bucket-List Destination
Whether you are tracking gorillas, exploring ancient forests, or birdwatching, a Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Safari is a must for travelers seeking adventure, biodiversity, and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
After an early breakfast, you will head to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters for a pre-track briefing. Surrounded by the ancient, mist-covered rainforest, you will be assigned a professional ranger and prepare for the highlight of your journey: Gorilla Trekking. Equipped with sturdy boots and a sense of adventure, you will venture into the dense vegetation, following the tracks of the world’s last remaining mountain gorillas. The trek can last between two to six hours, but the effort is rewarded the moment you encounter a gorilla family in their natural habitat. You will have a magical hour to observe these gentle giants as they feed, play, and interact—an experience often described as life-changing. During the trek, keep an eye out for the park's other inhabitants, including L'Hoest's monkeys, vibrant butterflies, and a variety of forest bird species. After finding your way back through the emerald canopy, you will enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the sounds of the jungle. The day concludes with a transfer back to your lodge for a relaxing evening.
