Amboseli National Park – Wildlife at the Foot of Kilimanjaro

Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, the 5,895-meter Mount Kilimanjaro, is one of Kenya’s most famous and popular national parks. Amboseli is also home to the Maasai people, who have coexisted harmoniously with wildlife for centuries. Visitors can learn about their nomadic lifestyle, traditional homesteads called Enkaangs, and the Maasai’s intimate knowledge of the local environment.
