7 Days Kenya Safari Adventure

Experience the ultimate Kenyan wildlife journey with this 7-day safari, taking you through some of Kenya’s most iconic national parks and reserves. Starting and ending in Nairobi, this safari offers an unforgettable mix of breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife, and immersive safari experiences, ideal for first-time visitors and seasoned adventurers alike.

The journey begins at Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, stunning savannah vistas, and rich birdlife. Guests will enjoy guided game drives, spotting lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and a host of other wildlife while capturing stunning photographs of the mountain as a backdrop.

Next, travel to Lake Nakuru National Park, a haven for flamingos and other waterbirds. The shallow alkaline lake attracts thousands of pink flamingos, creating a spectacular natural display. Nakuru also provides sanctuary to endangered black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, waterbucks, and a variety of predators including lions and leopards. Game drives offer opportunities to explore the diverse wildlife and scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley.

The safari continues to the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s premier wildlife destination. Spanning over 1,500 km², the Mara is home to the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs, and countless other species. Visitors can witness dramatic predator-prey interactions, explore river crossings, and even take optional hot air balloon safaris for a panoramic view of the plains. Birdwatchers will delight in over 450 species recorded in the reserve.

Finally, the safari visits Lake Naivasha, a scenic freshwater lake surrounded by lush papyrus swamps and acacia woodlands. A boat ride provides close-up views of hippos and waterbirds, while the surrounding forests are home to giraffes, colobus monkeys, and other wildlife. Nearby crater lakes, such as Oloidien and Sonachi, offer additional opportunities to explore Kenya’s diverse ecosystems.

This 7-day Kenya safari combines thrilling game drives, spectacular scenery, and rich biodiversity, offering travelers a comprehensive and immersive African safari adventure.

On this day, you will have a wake-up call at 6:00 am, followed by breakfast. Afterward, embark on a full-day game drive across the Masai Mara. Wildlife encounters will be up close, so it is highly recommended to have your cameras ready as the animals roam freely in their natural habitats and act without notice. The Masai Mara is renowned for its ‘Big Five’—lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo—though spotting the other two elusive members requires a bit of luck. The park’s animal density and diversity are extraordinary. During the day, you will visit the Mara River, the site of the annual wildebeest migration, where lunch will be served. Be cautious of the monkeys, which often try to snatch fruits. You may also spot hippos and, with some luck, crocodiles basking along the riverbanks. Throughout the day, expect to see plains game such as antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, Masai giraffes, and scavengers like hyenas and vultures. After lunch, continue with another game drive before returning to the camp around 6:30 pm for dinner and an overnight stay at the same lodge or camp.

In the morning, you will also have the chance to visit a Masai Village, enjoy a traditional Masai dance performance, and purchase curios and other local items at a reduced cost.
