One of the most famous attractions in Tsavo West is Mzima Springs, where nearly fifty million gallons of crystal-clear water flow daily from beneath ancient lava rocks. The springs form a refreshing oasis in the middle of the dry savannah and attract a variety of wildlife including hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. Visitors can observe these animals in the clear waters while enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of this unique natural environment.
Another striking feature of the park is the Shetani Lava Flows, vast fields of black volcanic rock created by ancient eruptions. pick-up is at 5:00 am in the morning and head toward Tsavo east national park, in a couple of hours we will be at the Bachuma gate, where our first game drive will begin. here you will come across lions, the red coloured elephants, giraffes, ostrich, zebra, antelopes, baboons and many other that makes Tsavo a national park. In the midday, we will have a break and proceed to a restaurant for lunch and have a stretch for a couple of minutes and then proceed to our evening drive, you will have a view of different types of birds and various big cats later in the evening we will conclude the day by exiting the park and heading back to Nairobi
