Kenya Horizons Featuring Keekorok – 7 Days 6 Nights

Discover the beauty and wildlife diversity of East Africa with the Kenya Horizons Featuring Keekorok – 7 Days 6 Nights safari. This popular Kenyan safari takes travelers through some of the country’s most iconic wildlife destinations, combining extraordinary scenery, stylish lodge accommodations, and expert-guided game drives. From the rugged landscapes of Samburu to the legendary plains of the Masai Mara, this journey offers an exhilarating opportunity to experience Kenya’s most remarkable wildlife habitats.

The Kenya Horizons Featuring Keekorok – 7 Days 6 Nights adventure begins in Nairobi before heading north to the dramatic landscapes of Samburu National Reserve. Located along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, Samburu is home to some of Kenya’s most distinctive wildlife species, often referred to as the “Samburu Special Five.” These include the gerenuk, which is known for browsing vertically on its hind legs, the Grevy’s zebra, the reticulated giraffe, the Beisa oryx, and the Somali ostrich. The reserve’s semi-arid terrain, dotted with acacia trees and rocky outcrops, also supports elephants, lions, leopards, and an impressive variety of birdlife. Game drives here reveal a completely different side of Kenya’s wildlife experience.

The journey continues south toward the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations. Here you stay at the historic Keekorok Lodge, located in the heart of the reserve and known for its excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. The Mara is famous for its vast savannahs filled with abundant plains game such as zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and topi. These large herds attract predators, making the area one of the best places in Africa to observe lions, cheetahs, and leopards in action.

Game drives across the rolling grasslands provide endless opportunities to photograph wildlife and enjoy spectacular landscapes. Along the Mara River, resident hippos and crocodiles can often be seen basking along the banks, while elephants and buffalo roam the surrounding plains. If traveling during the migration season, visitors may also witness the breathtaking spectacle of the Great Wildebeest Migration as millions of animals move across the ecosystem.

The Kenya Horizons Featuring Keekorok – 7 Days 6 Nights safari combines luxury lodges, professional guides, and extraordinary scenery to deliver an unforgettable African safari experience. It is the perfect journey for travelers seeking exceptional wildlife viewing, comfortable accommodations, and the chance to explore two of Kenya’s most famous wildlife regions.
